The 2016 West Hollywood Design District presented a co-op exhibition of member design brands. The space was curated and designed by César Giraldo of Tag Front. César’s inspired concept culminated in a piece he named: Immaculate Conception: One Piece at a Time.

“The direction that I decided to take was inspired by the museum exhibitions I have enjoyed, where clothing or
furniture pieces are carefully curated to represent an era or the best of a designer. In some ways, the meticulousness of a museum curator reminds me of my own relationship to furniture when working on projects. I will be choosing an individual piece from each participating showroom that I believe deserves to be displayed in a modern art museum, curating one piece at a time, my immaculate conception”.
